Moving Cards

We bought a house and moved over the summer.  My mother-in-law also moved over the summer.  So when the girls and I went to Big Bear for a couple of days to scrapbook and craft, I decided to make us moving cards.   My MIL has already sent out ALL of her cards, I just recently realized that mine were sitting on my desk because I didn't have any envelopes with me and didn't write them up.  Needless to say, that is something that has gone on my to do list, even though just about everybody knows we have moved!   It's amazing how I can get projects completed for everybody else and yet not do my own.  Anyway, below are pictures of the 2 cards.

This first card was for our own move.  I can't remember the stamp set I used for the truck or people but the text is from the set Around the Block but the paper is from CTMH - Twitterpated.  (I must have borrowed the stamp set from one of the girls I was with.)  I just loved the combination of colors.

This is the card I made for my mother-in-law.  I used the Around the Block stamp set here as well.  I used an oval punch as a background for the text and the Cricut for the actual text "just moved".  The paper packet was Topstitch.  The card took FOREVER to make but my MIL loved it so that's what mattered.

  1. I like this idea for a moving card. I'm sure everyone would love to receive this card any how.
