All-Sorts Mini Album

Wow, I can't believe it's already February and that I haven't posted anything!  I have worked on so many projects and made so many things, I guess I just lost track of time.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their family and friends.  We sure did -- I just wish we saw everyone like that ALL year round.  It's hard when you don't live in the same city.  Anyway ...

My husband and I always celebrate our "first date" anniversary.  We were friends for a little over a year before we started dating, and so our "first date" is very special to us both. This year I wanted to make him something.  Boy -- had no idea how difficult that would be.  It's crafty!  He's not really a crafty kind of guy (though he will tell me honestly what he thinks about what I'm working on when I ask).  So, I found these pictures he had taken the year before when he went to a Porsche 356 rally.  I used the CTMH All-Sorts Mini Album and a new paper pack called Lucky. It's more of a "manly" kind of paper using colors like Olive and Outdoor Denim.  See pics below. I was so happy that he liked the album.  It's the first time I've ever made him anything like that.

Making a mini album for a "boy" was not easy.  I realized how much of my crafting supplies are more "girl" oriented.  Couldn't use the flowers and rhinestones that I had :)  I definitely have to be on the lookout for other types of embellishments and accessories.  To embellish this album, I did cut out the pictures and added interesting facts about the 356 Porsche.  Hope you like it --- I know my husband did.
