So I've decided to join Tresa Black, another CTMH consultant, in "Blogtoberfest" this year!  During this month, I will be posting more, more, more!  More cards, more layouts, more Cricut projects, more information ... just more.

I'll start off with a birthday card I made using a CTMH paper called "Fanfare".  Now at first glance, this paper seems to be more of a "4th of July" paper.  See the image below:

When I first saw the paper, I loved it BUT I thought I could only use it for 4th of July projects.  How limiting!  I decided to challenge myself to use the paper for something other than 4th of July.  Here's a birthday card I came up with:

The colors of the paper pack are Cranberry, Pacific, Sky, and Sunny Yellow.  As you can see I tried to use all four of those colors in the card.  Can you tell it's "4th of July" paper?

Why don't you challenge yourself?  Go through your paper stash and look at your paper with a different eye.  Does that look like Halloween paper?  Hmmm ...  wonder if it could be used for something else?  Go ahead, give it a try!  I think you'll find you'll be using more of your paper "stash".  Have fun!
