Operation Write Home

I have been involved with making cards for Operation Write Home for some time now.  I made a Valentine's card this weekend and wanted to share it with you:

I used an older Close to My Heart paper called More to Adore which had this wonderful color combination of Chocolate, Hollyhock, and Blush

I used our Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to make the tag, the heart and the letter "u". The stamp set for the tag on the top is from our November Stamp of the Month called "Cherish the Day".  Here's a picture of the stamp set:

I don't know the name of the stamp I used in the heart shape on the bottom of the card.  I borrowed it from a friend and didn't get the name of it.  It was really cute!  You can't read it but the words say "kind - thoughtful - caring - sweet - wonderful - generous".

I hope they like the card!

BTW -- the November Stamp of the Month can be yours for only $5.00 with any $50 purchase.  Click here to start shopping!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. What a neat card for such a terrific cause. I'd like to be part of Operation Write Home, too. Perhaps you could give me advice on how to do this? If you have time, you can email me through my blog: brendafrerichs.blogspot.com. Hugs :-)
