Thanksgiving with Art Philosophy

Happy Thanksgiving!  I have been playing around with our new Art Philosophy cartridge and decided that I had to make some kind of Thanksgiving decoration.   Here's a couple of pictures of what I ended up with:

I'm giving it to my Aunt when we go over for Thanksgiving.  I just love it!  I would have liked to make it bigger but didn't have time.  But now I know how to do it and how long it will take.

I cut the various flowers using the Art Philosophy cartridge in different sizes ranging from 4" - 6".  I used Liquid Glass to glue the flowers together.  (I have a prior post dated November 1, 2011 describing all the things you can do with Liquid Glass.  Click here to read it again.)

I then covered a rectangular piece of foam with a piece of paper from our Dreamin' paper packet and glued it down with StyroGlue.  (I found it at Michael's)  I used green wire to hold each flower up.  It took a little work to manipulate the wires enough to hold the flowers up -- I ended up putting 2 holes in the bottom of several of the flowers so that the wire could hook around and the flower would stay up.

I can't wait to make more of these!

Hope you're having a blessed Thanksgiving.

Lucy
