Heart Flower Wreath

Today I would like to share with you my first Valentine's project of 2012.  I have been wanting to make a wreath of some kind using my Art Philosophy cartridge.  I ran out of time for Christmas ... so I made something for Valentine's Day!!

I made flowers from the AP cart cutting them at 5" using the image on p. 69, E9, shift - font - < Heart3 >.   Here's a couple of pictures:

I ended up cutting 73 flowers.  I used Liquid Glass to make the flowers as well as adhering some of the flowers together.  I used a metal heart shaped wreath that I bought at Hobby Lobby.  Here's a picture of the metal wreath that I purchased at Hobby Lobby:

I used floral stem wire to wrap the flowers around the wreath:

There are a total of 73 flowers in this wreath.  Thanks for looking!

  1. This is gorgeous! I love the look of it - may have to scraplift - maybe a smaller version for windows? Great job (you'll get the credit!)
