Altered Paper Bags for Valentine's Day

Today I needed a couple of bags for Valentine's gifts and I needed to make them quickly.  So I decided to take some brown bags that I had and alter them.

I had some fun colorful animal print paper that I used to cover the bags and then I used a couple of Cricut carts to embellish.

I used the Create-A-Critter Cricut cartridge to make the heart on the first bag and then our Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut out the letters.  Though you can't see them that well in the picture, the letters are clear and distinct on the bag.

For the second bag, I used the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge to cut out Tigger, who, by the way, is my favorite character!

Since these were so easy to make, I think I'm going to be on the lookout for brown bags on sale -- they are so easy to customize for the occasion and the recipient.

Thanks for stopping by!
