Monkey Business - Day 2

Hello again!  Today is Day 2 of "Monkey Business".  I wanted to make an additional gift for my friend's daughter -- you remember, the one who LOVES monkeys?  Sooooo, today I made her a name banner using Monkeys!

I used my two favorite Cricut cartridges to make this monkey banner:  our exclusive Art Philosophy AND Create-A-Critter.  I started with our My Creations Banner as the base. I used paper from the Paper Studios "Cheekee Monkey" collection.  Using the Art Philosophy cartridge, I cut 6 banners using the image on p. 49, C9, < banner4 > - cut at 6.9".  I cut the flowers from the image on p. 39, B9, shift, < flower7 > at 4 1/2" and 5".

I used the Create-A-Critter for the monkeys.  p. 46, C3, < monkey >, Layer 1 and Layer 2 at 3".

The pictures aren't that great -- for some reason my camera was having difficulty today.  I can't wait for her to see it!  I decided to put paper on the back of each pennant so that when she tires of having it up in her room, they can make an album out of it and put pictures on the other side.

Thanks for stopping by!!
