You are probably sick of my "bunny" projects but I just LOVE these little guys! I have one more "bunny" project. If you have been following my blog at all, you know that my husband and I own a martial arts studio (Aikido of Escondido) and I teach the children's class with him. They are just so much fun and I love to treat them on various holidays ... if I can think of something to make.
My original plan was to put the bunny from the Create-A-Critter Cricut cartridge in a martial arts uniform but I just couldn't make it work. So I went back to my old "stand-by" and made a small child with a uniform on and then added bunny ears. I cut out the bunny from that cartridge and then just cut the ears off and added it. For the uniform, I used the bathroom and belt from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. Here's a picture:
We have had several children test since the last holiday and so there were many more yellow belts in this set of bags. I put in a Rice Krispies treat in each bag. Here's a close-up of a few of the bags:
To make the bags themselves, I used our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (duh!). The bag can be found on p. 23, A3, shift, font layer, < Star1 > - cut at 5 1/4". The mat behind each figure is an egg shape that also be found in the AP cartridge. It's on p. 57, D7, < Shape9 > - cut at 3 1/4". I didn't want the egg to be plain, so I took the swirl image from the "Love Life" stamp set, and random stamped it on the shape to give it a little bit of texture.
I promise this is the last of my "bunny" crafts ... maybe. Would love to hear from you so please take a moment to leave a comment.
