Dotty for You Layout

Good morning!  I have been wanting to create more layouts so I decided to use our new, exclusive Dotty for You paper.  I started to look around for layout ideas when I saw the card I submitted for the Mojo Monday Card Challenge.  I thought to myself -- what a great layout!  Yes I know it was for cards but isn't a scrapbook layout really just a mini card?

Here's the original Mojo Monday sketch - #237:

I actually liked this sketch a lot and so here is my two page layout:

Two page Layout - Dotty for You

Left Side of Layout

Right Side of Layout - Inverted

As I said earlier, I used our Dotty for You paper for this layout.  I also used our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut the various shapes in the layout.

Images
Circles:  p.21, A1, < Circle2 > cut at 3"

Arrows:  p. 64, E4, shift, < Arrow2 > cut at 2 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Butterflies:  p. 41, C1, shift, < Bttrfly1 > cut at 1"
Pennant:  p. 68, E8, card < Banner1 > cut at 1 1/2" x 9"
Corners:  p. 60, D10, shift, font, < Gift > cut at 1"
Letters:  shift, font, "letter" cut at 1"

I also used the April Stamp of the Month - "You Are" for the sentiments on the arrows.  I just LOVE this stamp set.  It's available only through the end of April and you can get it for only $5!  What??? Such a deal!

Now as you may or may not know, Close to My Heart has published several "How-To" programs:  Reflections, Imagine, Magic, Cherish, Wishes, and Originals.  The last two were for cards but they are now retired and no longer available.  I just loved using them so I'm sad to see them all go.  Three of the scrapbook programs are still available - while supplies last.

If you would like to purchase any of the items I have used above, you can just click here or email me here.

Thanks so much for stopping by -- LOVE reading your comments!

  6. Man o man, am I ever glad I got those two card books before they ran out ! Now that I have 3 packs of Dotty - I had better crack open one of them and use the gorgeous sketches in them. I now have everything but Lucy and the 2 masculine collections - right now, just making a card is far enough out of the box for me ! As always, love your work !
