Heart 2 Heart Challenge

If you are looking for my April Workshop - Gift cards, click here.

Good Morning!  This morning's post is all about Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is to create an Easter/Spring project.  The rules of the challenge are that you use "mostly" Close to My Heart products and then link back to the blog.  Here's my project:

For this project, I used our Lucy paper pack because of the "spring" colors it has. I also used our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge ... of course. To make the card base, I used the image on p. 57, D7, card, < Shape9 > and cut it at 5".  To make the cute layer on top, I cut the image from the same page, D7, decorative layer, < Shape9 > also cut at 5".

The stamped sentiment "Spring" comes from our stamp set "My Peeps".  I stamped it in Sweet Leaf and then cut it out by hand.  I cut a flower shape using the Art Philosophy cartridge - p. 57, shift < flower3 > cut at 2 1/2".  I then glued the glitter buttons from the "Bohemian Assortment" onto the sentiment.  Finally, I made a small bow from white ribbon which I glued on using Liquid Glass.

Would love to see what you come up with for this week's challenge on Heart2Heart.   Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

  1. I know exactly why you used "Lucy" paper - but even if it was called Quasimodo, you'd make something crazy cool out of it !
