Heart2Heart Challenge

Today is our Heart2Heart Challenge day!  This week's challenge is to create a project using flowers.  It is Spring after all.

I decided to make a card and add flowers to it.  I had thought about making more 3-D type flowers but then I wouldn't be able to mail it in a regular envelope.  So -- here's my card:

Card laid out flat

Card upright and open

I used our Stella paper pack.  I just love the vibrant colors in this paper pack.  One of my favorite colors is Lagoon which coordinates with the paper.

For the center of the flowers I added a little "bling" - Bitty Sparkles.

To make this card I used our fabulous Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The flowers were cut from the Lagoon and Tulip cardstock.  The leaves were cut using Olive cardstock.  Here are the images I cut:

Card:  p. 55, D5, card < Rctngle7 > at 4 1/2"
Flowers:  p. 50, C10 < Flower8 > at 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2"
Leaves:  p. 52, E2 shift < Leaf1 > at 1"

I used a stamp set called "4 My Friend".  There are a number of sentiments in this stamp set and I use it all the time.

I hope you join us over at Heart2Heart and participate in this week's challenge. Here are the updated rules/guidelines:

* All links must be to artwork that fits the challenge for the week and contain Close To My Heart products. If it does not include CTMH products, the link will be removed.

* All links must be directly to the specific post with the artwork for the challenge. To do this, compose your post, publish it and then click the title of the post. This should take you to a page that has only that one post on it. This is the page we need a link to - not to your whole blog. If the link sends us to your entire blog, your link will be removed.

* Your blog post MUST mention that you are entering the challenge at H2H and link to our site. If you don't mention H2H in your post, your link may be removed. This is a new rule.

* Please consider turning OFF word verification for your comments as it makes it much more time consuming for our DT members to leave you comments.

Now it's YOUR turn!  Can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.  Have a wonderfully crafty day.

  2. Lucy -

Very cute! I'm always a sucker for cards that look dimensional but can still be mailed without extra postage!
