Good morning everyone! Today's project is actually something I made for my MIL's friend. I had made my MIL a notepad holder with a ladybug on the front. She has a friend who loves bees and thus a project was born :)
First, let me show you pictures of the two notepad holders:
I made these holders using our fabulous, exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (AP) and my other favorite, Create-A-Critter. Can you guess which cart cut which image?
The first holder was made using our Dotty for You paper - available only through the end of the month. You can purchase it for only $5 with a $35 qualifying purchase.
The second holder was made using paper from Cruisin'.
The bee was cut using the Create-A-Critter - cut at 6". The bee image can be found on page 68, E5. I used Black, Sunny Yellow, and Sky cardstock on the bee for both holders.
The flowers were made using Lagoon and Cranberry cardstock and were cut with the AP cart at 1" and 1 1/4". The bling in the middle of the flowers are Bitty Sparkles.
The letters were also cut using the AP cart cut at 1/2". The scalloped rectangle was also cut with the AP. The image can be found on page 54, D4, < Rctngle2 > and was cut at 2 3/4" x 4 1/2" (using the Fit to Length key).
