Elmo and Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the Elmo and Friends Blog Hop.  This hop is scheduled from June 18 at 9:00 am through June 19 at 11:00 pm.

If you just happened to come to this blog, you should start at the beginning at Lisa - http://handmadewithlove-lisa.blogspot.com/. If you came from Rhonda's blog at Come Craft With Blue, then come hop along with us.

We're so excited to be doing this hop and we have a fabulous lineup with some very talented ladies.  There will be lots of fun projects, along with some great blog candy, and a great grand prize for this hop.

The hop is a 2 day hop so you will have plenty of time to make it through the whole hop lineup twice.  Check out each blog and see what blog candy you can win at the individual stops.  Please come back both days to see great projects.

There is going to be an overall grand prize sponsored by Lisa from Scrapping with Lisa Designs and she will be the first stop in the lineup.  In order to qualify for the grand prize, you must leave a comment on every stop in the hop. You also must become a follower of her blog, her DT blog at http://scrappingwithlisadesignsdt.blogspot.com/ and all blogs in this hop. The grand prize for the blog hop is $20 in free files over at scrappingwithlisadesigns.com.

My project is a summer card with our friend Elmo from Sesame Street!

I used Close to My Heart's Footloose paper to create this card.  I used 2 of the coordinating cardstock papers:  New England Ivy and Sweet Leaf.  This is an A2 size card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

To make the brackets on either side of Elmo, I used our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The brackets can be found on page 30, A10, shift, font, < Snwflke3 > cut at 3 3/4".

Elmo was made using the Sesame Street Seasons Cricut cartridge.  This image can be found on page 38, B10, < Summer > cut at 3 1/2".

I edged the brackets and the Sweet Leaf matte with New England Ivy ink.
