The challenge is to show us an elegant card that would be great for a wedding or wedding shower.
I wanted to match the colors of their wedding and so my card is made using Black, White, and Tulip cardstock.
First - a picture:
Ta da! I also used two Cricut cartridges on this card: Art Philosophy and Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 (TBBM2).
The card itself was cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge: page 51, D1, Card, < Circle4 > cut at 5". The frame was also cut at 5": page 51, D1, Decorative Layer, < Circle4 >. I wanted to have a little "pop" of color so I cut the center using Tulip paper from page 51, D1, < Circle4 > cut at 3".
I just love the sentiment "To the Bride and Groom" on the front because it has a ball and chain on it. Hee, hee ... I know they'll appreciate it and will probably argue about who is the ball and chain :) The sentiment came from the TBBM2 cartridge. It can be found on page 57, phrase < GroomBox > cut at 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" (using the Fit to Length key).
I'm not sure if you can tell but the White cardstock I used is actually textured. It's no longer available but I have a secret stash of this cardstock that I have been using sparingly :)
Supplies Used:
Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (Z1686)
Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 Cricut cartridge
Black cardstock (1386)
Textured White cardstock
Tulip Cardstock (X5909)
I hope you enjoy my card. Can't wait to see what you come up with too!
As a reminder here are the updated rules/guidelines for our challenges:
* All links must be to artwork that
fits the challenge for the week and contain Close To My Heart products.
If it does not include CTMH products, the link will be
removed.
* All links must be directly to the specific post with the artwork for the challenge. To do this, compose your post, publish it and then click the title of the post. This should take you to a page that has only that one post on it. This is the page we need a link to - not to your whole blog. If the link sends us to your entire blog, your link will be removed.
* Your blog post MUST mention that you are entering the challenge at H2H and link to our site. If you don't mention H2H in your post, your link may be removed.
