Melts in Your Mouth But Not in Your Hands Blog Hop

Welcome to our "Melts in Your Mouth but Not in Your Hands Blog Hop" for not one but two beautiful ladies who are not only beautiful inside and out but also have a love and joy of crafting. We are celebrating their birthdays with a wonderful candy that is also not only beautiful inside but outside and both sides are delicious!!!!  What a better treat than to use M&M's for birthday wishes!!!! And, they are both turning 50, but shhhh don't spread the rumor as who would ever believe you after looking at their pictures!

We have a super wonderful group of crafters to help wish not only Kimberly Pate but Rachelle Larsen a very happy Birthday. Our hop actually begins with Kimberly Pate at KP Kr8ations Brinding Memories to Life in case you just happened to stop at my blog to visit me.  Don't get me wrong I'm glad that you're here, but since this is such a delicious hop, I wouldn't want you to miss a single stop along the way!!!!!  If you have arrived from LadyLuvBug, then you are following the empty bags of M&M's.

I decided to make our birthday girls a M & M's card:

I used a brand new paper pack from Close to My Heart called "Scholastic".  The coordinating colors that I used are also 2 new colors:  Saddle and Ruby.
For my M&M girl, I used the Everyday Paper Dolls as follows:

Body:  page 28, A < Body > cut at 2 1/2" using Parchment CS
Hair:  page 31, A4, Headwear, < SprngG > cut at 2 1/2" using Chocolate CS
Shoes:  page 31, A4, Accessories 1, < SprngG > cut at 2 1/2"  using Black CS

I also used our new, exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge for a couple of images on my card:

Circle:  page 48, B8, Card "i" cut at 1 1/2"
Letter:  page 67, D7, "m" cut at 3/4"
Birthday banner:  page 35, A5, Shift, Accent 1, "%" cut at 1 1/4"

The "Happy Birthday" sentiment on the front of the card comes from a stamp set that comes with the Artiste bundle called "Birthday".  As does the inside image "Hope your birthday's as sweet as you".  The second sentiment on the front of the card also came from a stamp set that comes with the Artiste bundle called "Kudos".

I hope the birthday girls enjoy their cards!
