August Artiste Blog Hop

Welcome to our August ARTISTE Blog Hop!  Each month we will showcase a feature of the amazing ARTISTE Cricut cartridge which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.

We're so excited to be doing this hop and we have a fabulous lineup with some very talented ladies.  There will be lots of fun projects!

This month we will each be showcasing a different page from the Artiste cartridge! Did you know there were 700 images on this cartridge?? That's right -- 700!!!

The Artiste is available in a bundle which includes three (3) exclusive stamp sets as well as three (3) Dimensional Elements that all coordinate with the cartridge.  The creative features on this cart include:  Accent 1, Accent 2, Accent 3, Accent 4, Card, 3D Object.  This amazing bundle is only $99 -- such a deal!  Now before you say to yourself "$99!!  That's waaaay too much!!"  Let me point something out to you.  The average Cricut cartridge only has 70 - 90 shapes on it.  This fabulous cartridge has 700!  That's right, I said 700!!!  This cartridge (and it's partner in crime - Art Philosophy which also has 700 images) will replace your individual punches (think of how many circle punches you may have in your craft room - 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1", etc., etc. -- how much did THOSE cost you?) and dies.  That's right you can sell ALL of them and just use our cartridges!

You can only purchase this exclusive Cricut cartridge through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.  You can purchase it through my website by clicking here or by emailing me directly by clicking here.

My project is ... a Halloween Mini Album!  Yesterday I posted a Explosion Album Box with a Christmas theme and thought to myself, I HAVE to do one for Halloween!  If you would like to see my Explosion Album Box, just click here.

I used our Moonlight paper to make my Halloween mini album.  I also used our Moonlight Complements Dimensional Elements for embellishments throughout the album.

To make the mini album itself, I used our brand new, exclusive AMAZING Artiste Cricut cartridge.  I chose to feature page 40 from the booklet.

The image can be found on page 40, A10, 3D Object, < 0 > cut at 5".  I cut two (2) of them.  For the top and bottom lids, I cut from the same page, A10, Shift, 3D Object, < ? > cut at 5" (2 of them).

I have to admit that I had to "borrow" images from some other pages since they went with my project.  I cut out the spider, skeleton, web, and border using images on page 76 and 77.  I couldn't help myself -- they were PERFECT for my project.  I also cut some scalloped circles using our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.

I had SO much fun creating this mini album!  So much fun that I have decided (at the last minute) to give away some blog candy to one of you fabulous hoppers!  I am going to give away a Moonlight Complements Dimensional Elements pack!  That's two (2) sheets of Printed Dimensional Elements that you can use to create your own Halloween project!  See the picture below.
