August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Baroque Borders

Welcome to our August CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!   Each month we will showcase the Stamp of the Month which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.

We're so excited to be doing this hop and we have a fabulous lineup with some very talented ladies!  There will be lots of fun projects.

This month we will be showcasing the August Stamp of the Month "Baroque Borders". This stamp can be used in so many different ways and we hope to inspire you with our creations!

You can purchase this stamp for only $5 with a $50 qualifying purchase (a $17.95 value).

My project is ... a card!

For my card shape, I used our fabulous, exclusive Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  The card shape can be found on page 32, A2, Card < 2 > cut at 4 1/2".

I stamped the image from Baroque Borders using a technique called "variegated stamping".  I actually explain this technique in an earlier post.  You can see the instructions by clicking here.  I used Twilight, Sorbet, and Creme Brulee Ink to create this effect.  I also used a stamp set called "Casual Expressions" on my card for the sentiment "Great Job".  I stamped it in Twilight ink and outlined the words using a Sorbet marker.  What I love about this stamp set is that it coordinates with our Artiste cartridge which means NO MORE manually cutting out these images -- love it !!!  You can find this image on page 65, D5, Accent 3 < b > cut at 1 3/4" and 2".

SUPPLIES USED
3-D Foam Tape (Z1151)

I hope you enjoyed my project - you really should try this stamping technique -- it can really enhance your creation.
