It's a plane! It's a bird! No, it is a plane and this is the Aviation Blog Hop to celebrate National Aviation Day.
Our talented crafters took to the sky to create their project for this hop and I hope you will stop by all the blogs, see their high flying projects and leave them a comment.
This blog is hosted by Jearise at Lorby's World and she will have a give away going on her blog so don't forget to go to her blog and comment there as well.
My project today is a card:
I used a new paper pack from Close to My Heart called Avonlea. To make the card shape using our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. You can find this card shape on page 33, B3, Card, < Square2 > cut at 5". I then cut a mat using the image on page 33, B3, < Square2 > cut at 4 3/4".
To make the helicopter, I used a Cricut cartridge called "Beep Beep". You can find the image at A5, < Heli > cut at 3". I popped the helicopter using 3-D Foam Tape.
My sentiment came from the stamp included in the Avonlea Workshop on the Go Kit. I used Olive and Juniper ink on the sentiment by applying the ink with a Sponge Dauber.
