Friendship Week Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to the Friendship Week Blog Hop!  This is Day 2 of our hop!

WE are starting the week out with ideas so YOU can finish the week by making friendship cards or gifts to send to your friends.   We are so excited to share what we made for our friends!

If you have arrived here from Lissa of So Many Crafts So Little Time you are in the right place. If you popped in to see what I had on my blog you may want to start at the beginning, Jessi's blog: My Life in Arts n' Crafts.

Today I have made for my friend a gift box!  I needed a cute little container for my gift for a friend whose birthday we have not celebrated yet.  I can't tell you what I got her but I can definitely show you the gift box I made to put it in -- she might be reading this!

I used our new "Flirty" paper pack to make this cute little box.  I also used our exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut out the box!  You can find this image on page 73, Accent 4 < Spring > cut at 3".  I then cut the butterflies that I adhered to the top from the same page: 73, Shift, Accent 4 < Easter > cut at 2 1/2" and 3".

The sentiments on the sides of the box "Count Each Day a Blessing" and "Grateful for You" came from the zip strips at the top of the patterned paper in the Flirty paper pack.  The stamped flower came from the exclusive stamp set that comes with the Flirty Workshop on the Go Kit.

I cut the patterned paper for the sides of the box at 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" (2 each) and 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" (2 each).  I used our Corner Rounder to round one side of each of the mattes.  I edged the sides of all the paper with Goldrush ink.

SUPPLIES USED
Artiste Cricut cartridge (Z1790)
Flirty Paper Pack (X7160B)
Flirty Workshop on the Go Kit (G1050)
Goldrush Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2123)
Corner Rounder (Z578)
Tombow Adhesive (1514)
3-D Foam Tape (Z1151)

I am blessed with so many wonderful and amazing friends in my life and so I would love to give away some blog candy in appreciation!  I am giving away a stamp set appropriately called "A Friend Like You" (B1410).

Wouldn't you just LOVE to have this stamp set in your collection?  All you have to do to win, is leave a comment on this post and be a follower of my blog.  For a second entry, "Like" my FB page by clicking here.
