Hello Everyone! Can you believe it's already August 1st??? How in the world did that already happen?
For today's project I created a set of groomsmen cards for a friend of mine who is about to get married. Since these were "guy" cards I wanted to pick a shape for the card that would fit. Lucky for me I had the Artiste Cricut cartridge sitting right next to me! Before I tell you more about the cards and coordinating envelopes I made, let me show you some pictures:
The colors for the wedding are black and white and so I used the same colors these cards and envelopes Cute right?!?!!? What I love about this card shape is that I used to make these card shapes "by hand" -- I would have to cut and fold it by hand. Well with the Artiste, the shape was already there! Took me all of 15 seconds to "cut" this card out!. The hardest part was deciding which card shape and paper color. I also cut the envelopes out using the Artiste.
Shirt shaped card: page 75, Card, < FtherDay > cut at 5" using Black CS
Tie: page 75, Accent 3 < FtherDay > cut at 5" using Colonial White CS
Envelope: page 75, Shift, Card, < Dad > cut at 4 3/4" using Colonial White CS
I have some envelope glue that I will use so he can seal the envelope.
I had SO much fun using the Artiste today -- it has become my new "go-to" cartridge (along with our Art Philosophy).
