Welcome to our Friday challenges at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges where we have a new question or theme posted every Friday! That's 52 projects in 2012 if you do them all! We thought it would be a neat idea to make all 52 projects part of a mini album... a new page every week based on the question or theme.
But you interpret this challenge any way you like. All forms of crafting are welcome!
We are on Week #34 and our theme is "Little Green Men". Do you believe in UFOs? Are there monsters in the closet?
For this week's challenge, create ANY type of project featuring "Little Green Men" - UFOs, aliens, monsters under the bed, etc.
Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Clear Dollar Stamps.
Clear Dollar Stamps is offering a $5 Gift Certificate to their store!!
Here is my Design Team submission for this challege:
I just love my little aliens! I cut them using the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. I used Sweet Leaf, Smokey Plum, and Black cardstock to cut them out. You can find my little aliens on page 28, A1 cut at 2 ½” and on page 39, B2 cut 2 ½”.
For the card shape I used our exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge. You can find this card shape on page 73, E3, Card, < Spring > cut at 5 ¼”. I used our new Moonlight paper pack to cut the card. I wanted to add a little extra “bling” to the card so I adhered some black Sparkles at the bottom of the card.
Here’s a picture of the inside of my card:
I cut a piece of Sweet Leaf cardstock to make the inside journaling mat. I also edged the cardstock with Sweet Leaf ink. For the inside sentiment “Take Me to Your Leader”, I again used the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge. The sentiment can be found on page 51, C4, Shadow, Phrase and Shift, Phrase, < Alien-s > cut at 2 ½”.
