Pause Dream Enjoy

Welcome to our Friday challenges at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges where we have a new question or theme posted every Friday!

That's 52 projects in 2012 if you do them all!  We thought it would be a neat idea to make all 52 projects part of a mini album... a new page every week based on the question or theme.

But you interpret this challenge any way you like. All forms of crafting are welcome!

We are on Week #38 and our theme is to create a project using a "PLAY"  theme.  What was your favorite thing to play at school RECESS?

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps with Wild Horses Stamp & Sentiment Set (shown below)

Here is my Design Team submission for this challenge:

When I read about this theme, it made me think of being in elementary school and how the girls would play on one side of the playground and the boys would play on the other side.  We would have so much fun - no cares or worries in the world. What a wonderful time that was!

I made a card but ultimately I think I may use this on a scrapbook layout.

I made this card using Close to My Heart's Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The images can be found on page 24, A4.  The card shape was cut at 5".  The "frame" around the front of the card was cut at 5" as well.  I then cut < Square6 > at 2", 2 1/4" x 3", and 2 1/4" x 2 1/2".  I used a stamp set called "Play Day" for the images.  The paper is called Scholastic. I edged the images using Saddle ink.
