September Bookmark Swap Hop

Welcome to the Scraps To Treasures teams September Bookmark Swap hop!   If you arrived here from Jessi's blog you are in the right place. If you just happened to “open the book” to my chapter (blog) please start at Chapter 1 which is My Life in Arts n' Crafts.

This month our group of frugally fantastic crafters have made bookmarks for each other. We are excited to share this fun idea will all of our readers. If you want to try this and do not have a large group of friends to do a swap like this, you can do it with just 2 or 3 people.

Our wonderful sponsor for this hop is My Creative Time!

Miss Emma has sent a "Honey Do" stamp set to give away to one lucky person.

Be sure to comment on EACH blog for BOTH days to be entered into the drawing!

Also be sure to follow any instructions on each blog for any fun goodies they may be giving away!

Here are the bookmarks I made to share with my friends

I made my bookmarks using a retired paper pack from Close to My Heart called Typeset.   I just loved this paper pack when it came out and was happy to find some leftover paper in my craft room.  I thought it was perfect for bookmarks.  The bookmarks are 2 1/2" x 5 1/2".  I used Juniper, Honey, and Desert Sand cardstock that coordinates.  I edged each piece of cardstock with Chocolate ink.

I cut the cute little caterpillar from the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge.  You can find this caterpillar on page 120, D9, < ctrpl > cut at 1" x 4" using the Fit to Length key.  I edged him using Juniper ink.

The sentiment "read" was stamped using our Glamorous Lowercase stamp set.

  7. Very cute bookmark :) Those papers are gorgeous! Too bad they are retired. I love the inking -- It's something so simple that makes a HUGE difference in the way something looks. Your caterpillar is super adorable too!
