Autumn with Art Philosophy

If you are looking for my Scraps to Treasures Christmas Tag Swap Blog Hop, please click here.

Welcome to our Autumn Art Philosophy Blog Hop!  Each month we are showcasing our amazing Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant.

It's the time of year where leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping, the days are shorter, and the holidays are quickly approaching. This month we will be featuring projects with an Autumn theme made using the Art  Philosophy Cricut cartridge!

My project is a card for Fall:

I couldn't decide which picture brought out the colors better so I decided to post both of them!

I made this card using mostly cardstock.  The tiny leaves in the corner actually came from our Flirty and Moonlight paper packs.  The Olive, Smokey Plum, and Goldrush cardstock coordinate with both of the paper packs.

I cut the following images our exclusive Art Philosophy cartridge:

Card:  page 63, E3, Card, < Square5 > cut at 4 1/2"
         page 63, E3, Decorative Layer, < Square5 > cut at 4 1/2"
Large leaves:  page 62, E2, Shift, < Leaf1 > cut at 2 1/2"
Small leaves:  page 56, D6, Shift, < Leaf4 > cut at 3/4", 1 1/2"
Sentiment "Happy Fall":  various pages, cut at 3/4" and 1"

I also used a stamp set called Harvest Happiness that coordinates with the Art Philosophy.  It was so convenient to be able to cut out the shapes and than just stamp the image instead of having to cut out the leaves manually.

  1. What pretty color combinations! I also like the shape of the card!

  2. Love that idea!! Great job, Lucy--I wonder how many of us used those leaves, lol!!! ;)

  3. Love the colors, great card!
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I love the lighter card - and man, I am a huge fan of not having to cut around images by hand !

  5. Great combo of colors! Thank you for posting your cut sizes. That really helps. I often go back and start with a card I like but change it up a bit. My understanding of proportion on a card isn't the best-lol. So your time you took to post sizes really is a help!!

  6. what and adorable card, love fall!!

  7. I love my Art Philosophy Cart... Great Card, so timely

  8. What a neat card! Love it! So great!
