Home for the Holidays

Good morning everyone!

Today's theme at Card-a-Day is "Home for the Holidays.

When I think of going home for Christmas when I was growing up, it was all about decorating the house for the holidays.  Even today I can't wait to go out and pick out our tree and then decide which ornaments we will use each year. I just loved putting the tree up and picking out the ornaments.  That was the inspiration for my card:

This is an A2 size card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used a Starburst Cuttlebug folder for the background mat.  I then edged the outside of the mat with Cranberry ink.  I used our Pear and Partridge paper and colors for this card.  The ornaments were cut using our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The image is on page 30, A10, < Tag1 > cut at 2".  I popped up the middle ornament using 3D foam tape.

The sentiment came from our Merry and Bright stamp set and was stamped on a 3/4" x 3" piece of cardstock and then backed with a piece of Cranberry cardstock cut at 1" x 3 1/4".
