Sci-Fi Blog Hop

The future: it holds a fascination for us. We sit and look at the stars and wonder what's out there. Many have tried to imagine what it would be like to reach the stars, to see that future. Those people created Science Fiction, a way to immerse ourselves in that imagining.

Today we share with you a piece of our visions of this future time. Our hop starts at the head geek's blog: Today I Created.

If you have warped in from somewhere else make your way through hyperspace by clicking on the link, resistance is futile.

If you arrived from The Blog Hop Princess then you are following the correct space time continuum.

We have a great sponsor today! Scrapping with Lisa Designs will be giving a $20 gift certificate to the winner of our blog candy! To enter leave a comment on each blog, you are not required to become a follower but I'm sure it would be appreciated. Make sure to check out her files at Scrapping With Lisa Designs!

Here's my project:

I made my card using paper from 2 different paper packs:  Avonlea and Stella - both from Close to My Heart.  I cut the card shape using our exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge.  It can be found on page 68, D8, Card, < BdayBoy > cut at 5".  I thought it was perfect for this blog hop :)  The rocket and space alien are also cut using the Artiste cartridge.  The robot is on page 68, D8, Accent 2, < BdayBoy > cut at 4" and the rocket was on that same page - 68, D8, Accent 1, < BdayBoy > cut at 3".

I stamped the sentiment "Dream Big" from the stamp set with the same name using Juniper ink.  The little stars actually came from our stamp set called "Creepy Creatures".  I then used our Glitter Glitz Gel on the "stars" in the background.
