Capture the Date

In this hop, you will see projects featuring this fun stamp set from many talented crafty ladies! Enjoy  our blog hop.

This is the beginning of our hop.  Here is my creation using this versatile stamp set:

As you can see I altered another notebook.  I don't know about you but there are many, many nights when I either can't fall asleep or I wake up and mind is racing. Then I find myself wanting to write down what I'm thinking and I know that until I do something I won't be able to fall asleep.  At the beginning of this month, I decided to leave a notebook on the nightstand on the side of my bed so that when I couldn't stop my brain, I had somewhere to write down my thoughts -- whatever they were!  I also thought it would be nice to have it all in one place so that I could refer it to later.

I finally decided that the ugly black and white composition book was just not working for me so I altered it!  I used a retired Close to My Heart paper called Typeset.  I then used our Artiste and Art Philosophy Cricut cartridges to help me make the "title" and the side tabs.  I cut the tabs using the Art Philosophy.  The image is on page 58, D8, Layer, < Tab2 > cut at 3/4" x 2".  I used the Artiste to cut out the front rectangles.  The image is on page 47, B7, 3D Object, < u > cut at 2 1/2", 2 3/4", and 3".

All of the stamped images came from our November Stamp of the Month - Capture the Date.  I have found so many different uses for this stamp set.  Here's a link to a card I made previously using this stamp set - click here.
