Fall Colors

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am happy to be a Guest Designer for Lynne over at Her Craftiness.  Lynn is a wonderful crafty friend I met through Facebook.  She is very creative and I am honored to be asked to create a post for her blog.  Don't forget to stop by her blog to check our all the wonderful creations she makes.

Today's theme is Fall Colors.  To me, fall colors include oranges, browns, reds, and greens.  So, I decided to do some random stamping on my project.  Here's a picture of my fall-themed card:

The background paper is a piece of Goldrush cardstock from Close to My Heart which I randomly stamped using the 3 different leaves from a stamp called called Fall Harvest.  I then stamped those same leaves on a piece of Barn Red cardstock using Barn red ink. That strip measures 1" x 4".

The sentiment comes from the stamp set "Harvest Happiness."  What I love about this stamp set is that it coordinates with our Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which means I didn't have to hand cut the scalloped ovals using White Daisy and Cocoa cardstock.  The ovals were cut at 1 1/4" and 1 1/2".

Have a wonderfully crafty day!
