It's All About the Bears Blog Hop - Day 2

Good Morning Everyone!

Welcome to our 3-day hop showcasing, you guessed it, bears!  Well, Teddy Bears to be precise.  Teddy Bears from Cricut's Teddy Bear Parade!

"A Teddy bear is a faithful friend
You can pick him up at either end.
His fur is the colour of breakfast toast,
And he's always there when you need him most."

We hope you will be inspired by our teddy bear creations.  As you hop along from blog to blog, you may see some blog candy being offered.  Please follow the blogger's instructions to enter and be eligible to win.

Please note: Some of those in our hop this weekend may have been affected by the hurricane and therefore without power. If you go to a link and it does not work or you do not see their Teddy Bear Project, please move on to the next link on the list. All 3 days of this hop have a different list and the entire line of each day is at the end of my post.  Thank you for your patience, and thank you for hopping along in our Teddy Bear Parade!

This is Day 2 of the hop -- all kinds of Teddy Bear creations to see!  Here's mine for today:

Now before I give you the details of my project, let me give you a little background about the card and who I am sending it to.  We have some really good friends that we have known for over 13 years.  They are from Missouri and they are die-hard fans of the Kansas City Chiefs.  Okay - Jimmy is more than Jolene but she's a fan too.  Well, my husband and I are die-hard San Diego Charger fans.  Over the years we've had a great friendly rivalry going on ESPECIALLY when our two teams play each other.  We've gone to a number of games together over the years too -- each time the Chargers won!  (Okay, I just had to say it).  Well, they just moved back to San Diego after being gone a number of years and we had hoped to go to one of the SD-KC games but it just didn't work out.  So this past Thursday, San Diego played Kansas City and ... well ... WE WON AGAIN!!!   In fact, we REALLY won as you can see by the score on the card.  Sooooooo, I'll be sending this card to Jimmy this week ... you know ... as a fun gesture ... hee, hee, hee.

Here's a picture of the inside of the card (sorry about the fuzziness, for some reason I couldn't get a clearer picture:

Hee, hee, hee.  Now when I planned on making this card earlier this week, I didn't know whether it was going to say "Sorry for your loss" or "Congratulations".  I'm so glad it went this way.

So on to the card itself.  It's an A2 size card: 4 1/2" x 5 1/2".  The mat was cut at 4" x 5 1/4" from the Dakota paper pack.

My cute little Teddy Bear football players were cut at 3".

The sentiment "Sorry for your loss" came from our stamp set called "4 My Friend" and was stamped with Moonstruck ink.
