November Calendar Girls

Welcome to our November Calendar Girls' Blog Hop!  

Papercrafts Presents 365 Cards magazine which is our inspiration for these monthly hops which thus became the Calendar Girls. The magazine has Creative Ideas for every day of the year: occasions, holidays, and celebrations including 42 unique holidays!!! These unique holidays are our inspiration. The hop starts with Kimberly of KP Kr8tions Bringing Memories to Life. You won't want to miss a single calendar event not to mention the weddings, graduations, birthdays -- ok, you get the idea!!!! 

I chose to create for Mickey Mouse Day which is celebrated on November 18th.  I just love everything Disney, don't you?

I decided to alter a composition book that I purchased at Staples.  I covered the notebook with a retired Close to My Heart paper called "Giggles and Grins".  I thought it was just perfect for this project.  Mickey was cut out using the Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge.  Mickey was cut at 7".  I stamped the diamond shape on the spine of the notebook using a retired stamp set called "Ticket to Ride".
