What an Explosive Blog Hop!

Good Morning!

That's right  you read that correctly -- this is going to be an EXPLOSIVE blog hop.  Not in a bad way mind you.  This hop is all about explosion boxes!!  They can be any color, theme, cards, invitations, treats, albums, shaped explosion boxes -- you name it.  In our hop, you will see several variations but there are so many out there.

If you just happened on my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, start with Ashley's blog over at The Blog Hop Princess If you came her from Maria's blog at Joyful Stamper, then you're in the right place.

For my "explosive" album, I decided to make a mini album using an Altoids tin.  I have been wanting to make one of these for a VERY long time so when Ashley set up this blog hop, I knew exactly what I wanted to make.  Here are several pictures of my Christmas "explosive" mini album:

I used a paper pack from Close to My Heart called Pear and Partridge.  I also used our exclusive Art Philosophy and Artiste Cricut cartridges.  I also used some stamped images from the following stamp sets:  Perfect Fit - Holidays (B1412), Pear and Partridge Workshop on the Go stamp set, and "Capture the Date" our November Stamp of the Month.

You'll notice that I don't have any pictures in this album.  Unfortunately my laptop crashed last week and I have not been able to recover any of my documents or photos, etc., sooooooo, I may end up having to add photos from the upcoming Christmas.

Oh, so I was going to write out the instructions for how to make this cute little Altoids mini album when I realized I hadn't written it all out.  THEN, I remembered that I had seen a YouTube video from Mary of CardzTV where she shows you step-by-step instructions.  When I looked at earlier it's almost exactly the way I made mine, so if you click here, it will take you right to her video instructions.

Here's the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:

Ashley ~ The Blog Hop Princess
Jamie ~ Jamie Lindstrom Designs
Maria ~ Joyful Stamper  YOU CAME FROM HERE
Lucy ~ Love 2 Create  YOU ARE HERE
Sam ~ Scrapping with Pirkie   YOUR NEXT STOP
Haidee ~ Created2Bunique
Pam ~ MzLavr's2 Creations
Liz ~ ScrapiliciousLife

Well I hope you have enjoyed my "explosive" project and maybe we will inspire you to make one yourself!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

Lucy
