Anything Goes with the Artiste!

Welcome to our "Anything Goes with the Artiste" Blog Hop where we are showcasing  the exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge which can be purchased exclusively through a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant. This will be our last Artiste blog hop for 2012.

Our "theme" for this hop was to create anything we wanted with the Artiste Cricut cartridge. And honestly, you can pretty much create anything and everything with the Artiste so this was not a difficult thing to do.

To start off this blog hop, I have created some really cute mini cards that I made using the Artiste that I will be using at our family get togethers for Christmas this year.

I actually made these to go with another project I posted - Christmas treat bags for the dinner table.  I thought it would be fun to have little treat bags at each person's seat that was filled with Christmas treats AND now these cute little cards!  Here's a picture of the treat bags I already made:

If you would like to see how I made these, click here and it will take you directly to that blog post.

For my mini cards I decided to put "Christmas Fun Facts" and cute Christmas jokes/riddles inside.  I thought it would be fun to read after dinner with the family.  I just Googled "Christmas jokes/riddles" and "Christmas fun facts" and I found a TON of websites to choose from.

To make these cute mini cards, you would need to go to page 53 of the Artiste cartridge booklet.  The key is C3, Card, < d > cut at 2".

I used our Pear and Partridge paper to create the mini cards.  I then picked out the "fun facts" and jokes/riddles I wanted to use and typed them into a Word document table and printed it out on White cardstock.
