Happy Holidays!

Good Morning!

For today's post, I created the first of many Christmas cards (I hope!) for the season.

I used a retired Close to My Heart paper pack called Wonderland to make this A2 size card.  I just loved the colors in this pack and had some leftover paper.  I'm going to post another picture of the card below -- it's a bit darker and honestly with this new free picture editing software I'm using, I'm still experimenting with how to edit.  Let me know which picture you think is better.

The Christmas scene came from a retired stamp set called "Captured Moments" and was stamped with Chocolate ink.  The sentiment "Happy Holidays" comes from the stamp set "Merry and Bright" and was stamped with Crystal Blue ink and layered with Chocolate and Crystal Blue cardstock.

Can you believe I didn't use ANY Cricut cartridge at all??  I can't even remember the last time I made a project with one.

Have you started making your Christmas cards yet or are you like me and just starting?

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

  1. The card is lovely. I don't see much difference between the two photos, but don't go by my eyes. lol.

  2. Thanks Charlotte -- I thought the same but hubby thought one looked better than the other -- go figure :)

  3. Pic #1 is clearer for me! LOL Love the 2 cards !
