Happy Holidays - Redux

Good morning!

Today I have for you ... a holiday/Christmas card!  Ta - dah!

As you can see, I used the same stamp sets as I did in yesterday's card.  [Here's the link to that card in case you missed it - holiday card.]

The Christmas scene came from a retired stamp set called "Captured Moments" and was stamped with Chocolate ink.  This time, however, I actually cut out the scene and popped it up with some 3D foam tape.  I also used one of my embossing folders  for the background - thinking it might look a little bit like "snow".  The sentiment "Happy Holidays" comes from the stamp set "Merry and Bright" and was stamped with Chocolate ink this time and layered with Chocolate and Crystal Blue cardstock.

I was trying to figure out which I liked more but I couldn't - I actually like both of them because though they are similar, they are different - if that makes sense.

What do you think?  Do you like one over the other?

Hope your holiday creations are coming along.  Can't wait to see them - I just love visiting other blogs so feel free to leave your blog link with your comment.

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

  2. I like the one with the embossed background...It does give the idea of snow.
