For this challenge at Scraps to Treasures, we decided to do a card swap. The theme was "Just Because" or "Thinking of You". As always, we needed to use "scraps" from our craft room to create our project.
I used an old paper pack that still had scraps and even some FULL sheets of paper left. It's amazing what you will find in your craft room (or area) when you start looking!
Here is my card using a retired paper pack from Close to My Heart called "Sophia".

|Inside of card|
Our theme was a "Thinking of You" card or a "Just Because" card. I think mine could be used for either occasion. I think when I send in my cards, I will leave out the sentiment on the inside and that way people can write whatever they want in it.
This A2 card is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The front strip was cut at 1" x 5 1/2". The inside strip was cut at 3 3/4" x 1 1/2".
The "HELLO" on the outside of the card was cut using the Artiste Cricut cartridge. You can find the image on page 65,D5, Shift, Card, < B > and was cut at 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" using the Fit to Length key.
I edged the entire card with Hollyhock ink which is a coordinating color for the Sophia stamp set.
The sentiment on the inside of the card comes from a stamp set called "Words of Comfort - Occasions".
Thanks so much for stopping by -- have a wonderfully crafty day!
