Happy Valentine's Day

I decided to make a Valentine's day card for my hubby using this stamp set:

This is an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I used White Daisy cardstock for the card base.  I then cut some Ruby cardstock for the second layer at 4" x 5 1/4".  The next layer is White Daisy cardstock cut at 3 3/4" x 5".  Finally, the matte underneath the roses is cut from Ruby cardstock at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".  I didn't like the way the Ruby cardstock looked so I decided to random stamp the rose image on the cardstock using Ruby ink to give it some dimension.

I stamped the rose image from our Happy Valentine's Day stamp set using Ruby ink and then hand cut the shape before popping it up using 3D Foam Tape.  To make the Silver Shimmer Trim tape red, I took our Ruby marker and colored it - I really wanted the card to stay monochromatic.  The sentiment "Happy Valentine's Day" also come from this stamp set.
