Well we have started a new year of challenges over at Paper Playtime and I am SO happy to continue to be a part of the Design Team there.

This year we are doing something different.  Paper Playtime Challenges will now post every other Monday.  We are also starting the numbering over with Challenge #1.  Are you ready?

Our first challenge of the year is "Pets"!

Here's my Design Team project for this challenge:

Isn't the little dog just adorable???  I used a Close to My Heart paper pack called "Clementine" for the card.  It's an A2 size card measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" made with white cardstock.  The first layer of paper was cut at 4" x 5 1/4".  The cute little dog was made using our "A Bowwow" stamp set which also has the sentiment I used "Wishing you a doggone good day!"  The middle strip was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. You can find the image on page 62, E2, Shift, Font, < Leaf1 > cut at 3/4".

 The dog bones were cut using another favorite Cricut cartridge of mine:  Create-a-Critter.  You can find that image on page 34, Shift, Layer 3, < DogBowl > cut at 1 1/2".  I edged the card, the sentiment, and the dog bones with Sorbet ink.  I used that same ink to stamp the sentiment itself.   The dog was stamped with Saddle ink on Saddle paper that comes with the kit.  The word bubble was cut using our Artiste Cricut cartridge.  That image can be found on page 65, D5, Accent 2, < b > cut at 1 1/2".
