The Everything ABC's Blog Hop

If you are looking for the Scraps to Treasures Valentine Treats Blog Hop, please click here.

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter B. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their B element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Amber's blog at Scrapper's Therapy, then you're on the right track!

Here's my project for our "B" hop -- take a look at the picture and see if you can see what my "B" is:

My "B" is BUTTONS!!  I did one card where I threaded twine in the buttons and the other card without.  I couldn't decide which I liked better.

I made these A2 size cards using our Dakota paper pack.  I cut the 1st layer of Barn Red cardstock from the pack at 4" x 5 1/4" and the 2nd layer at 3 3/4" x 5".  The sentiment comes from our "4 My Friend" stamp set and was inked with Pacifica ink. I cut the mat for the sentiment using our Artiste Cricut cartridge.  You can find the image on page 35, A5, Accent 4, < 5 > cut at 3" and 3 1/2".

The "button" shapes at the bottom of the card were also cut using the shapes on page 46 of the Artiste cartridge.  They are on page 46, B6, Accent 3 < y > and Shift, Accent 3 < Y > cut at 1" and 1 1/4".

I then threaded twine through the buttons and adhered them with Liquid Glass.

  1. Great cards. It's hard to find a card that is masculine and this one could certainly be for a man.
