Happy St. Patrick's Day

Good Morning Everyone and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Yes, I know, it's not for another month or so but over at Card-a-Day blog, we like to celebrate these holidays early to help you get ready for them.  If you haven't had a chance to stop by, definitely do -- we have some great creations for you for just about every holiday you can celebrate!

I don't usually make cards for St. Patrick's Day but I have to say that I had so much fun making my card that I think I will make a few more and maybe, who knows, actually send them out!  Does anyone else do that too?  I make my cards and then I keep them ... I'm trying to get better about it though :)

Anyway, here are a few pictures of my St. Paddy's day card:

I just LOVE the teddy bears on the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge that I used.  The bears always make me smile :)

The card base was cut using our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The image can be found on page 47, C7, Card, < Shape8 >.  I cut it at 5 1/2" so that it would fit in a standard A2 size card.

I cut the teddy bear at 2 1/2" using Black, Pear, and Buttercup cardstock.  I used Pear ink and a sponge dauber to edge the bear's suit to give it a little bit of dimension.

For the sentiment, I used our Perfect Fit - Birthday stamp set and just inked "HAPPY" and "DAY" with Pear ink.
