Good Morning Everyone!
Today I am showing you some mini Easter cards I made for my post over at Card-a-Day Blog. Our theme this week is Easter! Here's a picture:
I thought it would be fun to have these to give out at Easter with some other Easter "goodies". They fit in a 3 x 3 envelope. I used our Chantilly paper pack to make them.
The egg shaped card is 3" tall and was made using our exclusive Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. This cartridge has 100 different card shapes on it! You can find this one on page 57, D7, Card, < Shape9 >. The layer on top was cut with Pear cardstock from the same page - 57, D7, Decorative Layer, < Shape9 > also cut at 3".
For the 2 Easter eggs I added to the front, I used a stamp set called "Easter Wishes".
I just think it's adorable AND it coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge so I just stamped the image on the shape I cut - no more hand cutting! I stamped the eggs with Pear and Cotton Candy inks -- these are coordinating colors for the Chantilly paper pack.
Finally I wanted to add a little "bling" to the cards so I added some Bitty Sparkles at the top. I just love these because they are adhesive-backed.
