Spring Forward!

If you are looking for my Design Team project for PAPER PLAYTIME, please click here.

Good Morning Everyone!

This week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges, our challenge has to do with "Springing Forward" and Daylight Savings Time.  Your project can be anything that has to do with that theme: clocks, time, sun, spring, etc.  - the possibilities are endless!

For my project as a Design Team member, I created this:

This card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and will fit in a standard A2 size envelope.  I cut the card shape using our Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  The card shape can be found on page 58, D8, Card, < Tab2 > and was cut at 5 1/2".

The rosettes on the front were cut using our exclusive Artiste Cricut cartridge.  They can be found on page 50, B10, Accent 4, < p > cut at 3/4" and 1 1/4".

I used our Chantilly paper pack because I just love the vibrant Spring colors.  The word "spring" comes from a retired stamp set called "Peeps". For the "time to" and "forward" sentiments I used a stamp set called A Typeface.

Two of the coordinating colors for this paper pack are Cotton Candy and Pear and so I used those ink pads to stamp the sentiments.

SUPPLIES USED
Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (Z1686)
Artiste Cricut cartridge (Z1790)
Chantilly paper pack (X7163B)
Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2193)
Pear Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2197)
Peeps stamp set (retired)
A Typeface stamp set (A1117)
Liquid Glass (Z679)

I hope you enjoyed my project for this challenge.  I can't wait to see what you submit for our challenge.  ALSO, don't forget that we are doing MARCH MADNESS at Heart 2 Heart.  That means we are having giveaways all month.  This includes non-Consultants AND Consultants.  We are also looking for first-time participants and there is a special prize just for them!  Stop on by Heart 2 Heart and join us!

Have a wonderfully crafty day!

  1. Hi Lucy! Love the green and pink color combo--perfect for spring for sure! I jumped all the way to summer in my card, lol! I completely forgot about that adorable word "spring" from last year. It looks adorable on the rosette! :)
