Here are my projects!  The first is for April Fool's Day:

Tee hee - see what I did there?

I made this 3" x 3" mini card using paper from Close to My Heart called Claire.  The images on the front of the card come from a stamp set called Hello Blooms.  I stamped the musical image using Sunset ink and the little bird using the Outdoor Denim ink. The sentiment on the inside came from adhesive letters in our Keyboard Kraft Alphabet

My next holiday is Children's Book Day and here is what I created:

I am just so into 3" x 3" cards right now.  I thought these would be perfect to give to a child or friend with a reading goal to either encourage or congratulation on their reading efforts and goals.  I cut the image using the Graphically Speaking Cricut cartridgge.  You can find the image on page 51, C4, Icon, < Image24 > cut at 2 3/4".  I used our Tommy paper from Close to My Heart.  They were quick and easy to make!

The Stamping Chef is our wonderful sponsor for today's blog hop and has designed two of the images that have been used in today's hop.  She is offering 3 of her wonderful designs, winner's choice to one lucky blog hopper that responds on each of the Calendar Girls along with her facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/TSCRecipes/, commenting that you hopped with the Calendar Girls.

Lynne will be going through her stash and sending one lucky winner a surprise package to someone that remarks and gives bloggie love on each of the participants.

Your next stop along the way of the calendar is Sandy of Scrapbook Blessings.  Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on May 11, 2013, for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!

  5. Both projects are really cute. The inside of that card is wonderful - writing it backwards. I like the simplicity of your second card. It's a clean looking card and I like that. Nice job.
