Felicity's Be a Blessing Blog Hop

If you are looking for my post for the DREAM POP Blog Hop, please click here.

Welcome to Felicity's Be A Blessing Blog Hop!!

Today we are celebrating a very special little girl's first birthday. She has had a difficult fight this past year and we felt what better way to celebrate her life than have a blog hop!

Felicity has touched many lives even though she is not even one yet. Every day she makes therapists, doctors, and even her family smile.

The purpose of this hop is to be a blessing. So the way to win our blog candy will be for you to be a blessing to someone around you. Then photograph how you have been a blessing with either a craft project or taking a meal to someone, etc. Share it with us and that gives you an extra entry besides leaving comments on all the hop stops.

If you arrived from Julie's blot at Ready Set Stamp then you are in the right place. If not please go back to the beginning at Shawnee's blog and make sure you don't miss all the amazing ways my friends have chosen to bless others.

Blog candy for this hop is one paper pack and the April Showers Cricut Cartridge!!

There are three ways to earn blog candy:
1. Leave a comment on each blog
2. Come back and post how you blessed someone else with a link.
3. Tweet/Facebook about the blog hop

I decided to make some "kid-friendly" cards that I am going to give to a teacher friend to give out in her classroom for students who have been working on a goal.

I made these cards using the Create-a-Critter 2 Cricut cartridge (say that 3 times fast!).  I LOVE this cartridge almost as much as the original!  I cut this cute little puppy at 3" using Black, Chocolate, Champagne, Honey, and Sunset cardstock.  The background paper came from Close to My Heart's Buzz and Bumble paper pack. The cloud and phrase "You Did It" were cut at 2".

  2. Lucy, Your cards are so very cute!! I just love them. I haven't used CAC2 yet but it's on my wish list. A teacher will love getting these cards and what a fun idea. Thank you for joining me as a part of Felicity's blog hop. I appreciate you and all you do.

    Hugs and blessings,

  3. Oh Lucy this is such a great idea to give to a teacher. I love love this idea. TFS AJ-

  4. Loving the dog. :) I think I might need to get that cart. :)

  5. I love the little doggie. That cartridge has a lot of cut things for cards. Thanks for sharing and blessing a teacher. I might use that for my niece. She teaches special needs children. I think they would enjoy getting some little cards like this.

  6. These are dog-on cute!!! What a fun idea to give a teacher!!!

Glad to be in this hop with you!!

  7. I love the idea of giving a gift that will bless others. The gift of the cards so that she/he can pass along and encourage others is AWESOME!! Great idea!! XOXO, Julie. :0)

  8. Awwww, how very cute!!! I love that little doggie. I've not explored the Create-A-Critter 2 cartridge yet and had back-burnered my Cricut for a whlle. Just today, I conducted my first demo session of the Cricut Expression 2 which meant I had to actually BUY one (an Expression 2) because I only had an original Expression. I am surprised how much I like the touch-screen capabilities of the Expression 2, so maybe I'll actually use the Cricut more now. AND that might mean I'll get C-A-C2, too. LOL Oh life is series of new purchases and new adventures, ehhhh?

I'm looking forward to meeting you in June at the CTMH convention!!

    Ellen (CardMonkey)

  9. Lucy: Cute card and wonderful idea! Your teacher friend will appreciate having these and the kids will thrive/love having the encouragement from reaching their goals. The dog is cute & I like the paper you used.

It was nice to participate in the hop with you & bless others!
    ~Beth & Emily

  10. Lucy,
That is such a wonderful idea for your friend. I know she will love it! I love that cartridge too!!

  11. Another wonderful idea! I know my 6 yr old grandson loves to be able to keep little things I have made so I am sure these are going to brighten up their day! Thanks for sharing your idea ~ glad to be in the hop with you ~
