Happy Saturday!! I'm so excited you stopped by today because we are having a
CLOSE TO MY HEART BLOG HOP today! Woo-Hoo!

Thanks for joining us in our Close To My Heart Blog Hop. We are a short hop with only 10 stops including this one, so be sure to hop over to all my talented friends' blogs, follow them, leave them some comment love, and keep an eye out for BLOG CANDY!

Ready to see what I made for this hop?

I have really been into mini cards lately and I just love this Chantilly paper pack from Close to My Heart.  So I decided to combine my two "loves" for this project.  I decided to do some color blocking the cards as well.  The cards measure 3" x 3".  The squares on the card are 1 1/4" x 1 1/4".  The flowers came from the Girls Rock stamp set which coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  You know what that means, right?  NO ... FUSSY ... CUTTING!  I just cut the image on my Cricut and then stamped on it -- sooooo easy!  The "Hello" sentiment came from our Hello Blooms stamp set and was stamped with Cotton Candy ink.

SUPPLIES USED
Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge (Z1686)
Chantilly paper pack (X7163B)
Girls Rock stamp set (C1538)
Hello Blooms stamp set (C1540)
Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2193)
Pear Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2197)
Twilight Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad (Z2160)
Sponge Dauber (Z726)

This was so easy and really fast to put together! I think my favorite part was just stamping at random for the image designs.

Who wants BLOG CANDY?  Janis is giving away this adorable stamp set:

  21. Lucy, great set of cards! Did you do the squares with a punch or did you cut them out? Just curious! Love your set!

    1. Mimi - I did cut the squares by hand -- they measure 1 1/4" so if you had a square punch that size, it would be easy to cut. If I was going to make more of these, I would probably use my Cricut to cut them to get it done quickly :)
