Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring May's Stamp of the Month, which is called A Flowering Bunch, a set of 10 stamps.

If you came here from Carla's blog at Carla Creates, then you're in the right place!
Here is my creation using this versatile stamp set:
To make a 3" x 3" card, you just take a piece of cardstock (I used White Daisy) and cut it 3" x 6" and fold it in half. For the background of the card I cut one of the designer sheets from the For Always paper pack. I didn't want to just use a plain piece of black cardstock. You may not be able to tell from the pictures, but there is a light design on the black sheet which adds a little dimension to the card.
What I really love about this month's stamp set is that it coordinates with our Artiste Cricut cartridge! What a lifesaver that was! (And will continue to be since I will be making about 20-30 more of these mini cards). That means I don't have to hand cut or fussy cut my flower or leaf images - woo hoo!! I used Cotton Candy and Pear inks for the flower, leaves, and sentiment. I edged the outside of the flower with the Cotton Candy ink using a sponge dauber to give it a little extra dimension since I didn't color the image. For the center of the flower, I added a Pink Glitter Gem.
