Happy Thoughts

Good morning everyone!

This morning I am posting a card that I just put up over at Card-a-Day Blog where I am one of the design team members.  This week's theme is Sympathy.  First, let me show you my card:

Inside of Card

You may be thinking this isn't a traditional Sympathy card and I get that.  Sympathy cards can be sent for many different reasons - the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, the loss of a an opportunity, etc.

I recently took a card class through Online Card Classes called His and Hers.  It was SO inspiring and was the impetus for my card.

I used a paper pack from Close to My Heart called Claire.  This is an A2 size card.  The arrows came from our stamp set called Sightseer and were stamped using Outdoor Denim, Hollyhock, and Sunset inks - all our coordinating colors.  The sentiment on the inside of the card comes from our Card Chatter - Sympathy stamp set.

  1. Yep that is a different card. Good job, I never considered a sympathy card for other than a death but it does make sense
