Grillin' and Chillen'

Good Morning!!

Today I am participating in a blog hop called "Grillin' & Chillen"  - doesn't that sound fun??   We have quite a few sponsors for this hop so make sure you scroll all the way down after you look at my project to see what is being given away.  If you just came here from Pam's blog at Lovebug Creations, then you're in the right place!  Otherwise, please start at the beginning of the hop with Lisa of Honeybearz Designs.

All of our projects will be "cook out" related -- ready?

I decided to make a scrapbook layout:

I don't know about you but we always do a LOT of barbequing in the summer.  We just bought a new patio set AND a tent /canopy over it and have been spending a lot of time outside.  I have started taking some pics (which, of course, I have not yet developed) so this layout will be the start of many for our summer pictures.

This is a 12" x 12" layout.  I used a paper pack called "Surf's Up" from Close to My Heart.  To cut the "SUMMER" overlay, I used our new Artbooking Cricut cartridge which is AMAZING!  I cut the overlay at 11".  It can be found on page 52, B5, Photo Mat 2, < t >.  I plan on using the letters that came out of this layout on the next page. (I hate wasting stuff!)

The Chocolate photo frame was also cut using the Artbooking cartridge:  page 76 D9, Phot Mat 2, < Snow > cut at 11".  The photo mats were cut at 3" x 4" and 3 1/4" x 4 1/4".

I found this cute little BBQ grill in the Perfect Fit - Dad stamp set and stamped the image all over the photo mats - second generation so it would be a lighter image.  I have some perfect pics to fit there ... once I get them printed up!

The "World's Best Griller" stamped images came from that same stamp set.  The stamp set coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I cut the scalloped circles using that cart - page 31, B1, < Circle2 > cut at 2", 2 1/4", and 2 1/2".

The sun, the sentiment "cool", and the journaling card all came from the Surf's Up My Stickease Assortment
