Good Morning!

This post comes to you from the Practical Scrappers blog - I am a new team member and so excited to be a part of this talented group!

We were given a sketch for this challenge:

Since I have been working on my 6" x 6" mini album, I decided to make one of the pages using this layout sketch:

If you would like to see the other 6" x 6" layouts I made for this mini album, just click here, here, and here.

I used the Surf's Up paper pack from Close to My Heart.  I used the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut most of the pieces of this layout:  the sun, the sentiment, and the surfboards.  They are all on page 53 of the booklet.  I'm not sure if you can see it or not, but I stamped an image at the top of the layout that comes from the Patterned Pennant stamp set in Chocolate on the Chocolate cardstock.  In person, you can see it and it just adds a little extra "somthin' somethin'" to the layout :)

I used the Surf's Up My Stickease Assortment (X7168C) for the sun image on the top right of the layout.  The little flowers were stamped using Sorbet ink and came from the Tropical Paradise stamp set.
