Surf's Up

If you are looking for my post for the STT - Anything Goes Blog Hop, please click here.

It's summer time and I know we are all spending time outside enjoying the sunshine and the surf!  For this month's blog hop, we are featuring the exclusive "Surf's Up" paper pack from Close to My Heart!   We're celebrating fun in the sun with this colorful paper pack that also has some amazing coordinating accessories and embellishment.

Not only are all of our creations going to use our Surf's Up paper line BUT they will also be using our exclusive Art Philosophy, Artiste, and/or the NEW Artbooking Cricut cartridges available exclusively through a Close to My Heart consultant!  What ?!?!? If you don't already have a Consultant that you are currently working with, please contact one of the Consultants in our hop with any questions you have!

In this hop, you will see projects featuring this versatile cartridges from many talented crafty ladies! Enjoy our blog hop!

Here is my project:

I have been working on a 6" x 6" mini album using our Surf's Up paper and the brand NEW Artbooking Cricut cartridge!  I have to tell you, I just LOVE this cartridge!!   Jeanette Lynton has done it again!  This will be another "go-to" cartridge for sure!

I cut the overlay from page 67, C10, Overlay, < Family > at 6" using the Real Dial Size key.  The palm tree was cut at 4" using page 67, C10, Icon, < Family >.  The frame or photo mat was on the same page and was cut at  5" using the Real Dial Size key.  The wave at the bottom was cut at 1" x 3 3/4" using the Fit to Length key.  Finally, I cut the sentiment "vacation" at 3/4".

I just love that ALL of my images were on the same page.  I think this layout turned out pretty cute.  If you would like to see the other layouts that go int this album, you can find them by clicking here and here.  I still have a couple more layouts to make to complete the album so keep an eye out for future posts.
